SARS-CoV-2 is a rapidly evolving situation. We will be monitoring the developments and following Government guidelines in supporting our Members.

The House receives with great concern the reports about SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and its effect on all countries where the Society is operational.

Many of our Members are clinically or scientifically involved with an active fight against the virus. This severely limits their free time and the possibility of being involved with the Society.

Social distancing measures will also impact many events and conferences organised by the Society. All events scheduled to involve personal contact have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.

We will aim to work with our Members to provide alternative routes of cooperation and to always adhere to the Government guidelines at the time.

The President and Convocation House will work hard to provide support to all our Members in the coming months. If you have any particular concern about this situation, please contact the Secretary General.
